At the time, the Gaza House Encampment was taking place on Campus at the University of Waterloo. I was looking for ways I could support the encampment within the powers I had access-to. 

I wrote a motion that would support students' right to peacefully protest in relation to the University's affiliations with weapons manufacturers as a member of WCRI (Waterloo Cooperative Residence Inc.). 

I presented it at a WCRI Board meeting; unfortunately, the Board voted against the motion.
